This piece is based upon the account of Luke in the KJV of the bible.  For this image we read:

"Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass."
- Luke 24 : 12

The Lord of all has treaded the terrain of our travels.  We may know that the mortal strides from our own feet have been aligned to those same resurrected steps, and will be part of all earthly realms where Jesus Christ has been before us.

If He Lives, then He lives now, and He walks the very same sacred places we can walk.

To commemorate the choice in baptism of faith by the subject, this piece was created so that the focus was to be of the the subject reaching out to the Lord while surrounded by younger siblings.  They still have opportunity to grow before making a choice to follow the example of older siblings, as shown by the eldest who is next to Christ where baptismal covenants have already been made.

In the distance is a vast watered body symbolic of the need to enter into the cleansing wash of baptism by immersion.  The stretched tree limbs mirror that of the stretched reach of the subject, and are to show growth towards Christ rather then mortality's temptations to grow away in distance from our Redeemer.

Each life has a fresh start to a new day with morning's light, while ending at the close of the day for reflection when night comes upon us.  This cycle is forever present.  When we begin our day, fulfill our day, and then close our day, we will discover that we have become stained in choices of agency.

However, built upon that necessary reflection, a new day's light from the morning's rays will wash away what blanketed us in red, turning us to an eventual spotted nature.  Our efforts can only cleanse us so far before the purification from covenants is required to wash us fully from spotted to spotless.

No matter how short that instance from mortality to eternity was even for Jesus Christ, in all His power and glory He too undoubtedly stopped for a brief moment to recognize His divine role in the redemption of mankind and gave reverance to God's eternal plan just as we may give reverance as well.

The Lord sees and looks upon us in our earthly state.  That is why we can become vessels which have a value compared to a treasure’s bounty. y.

No doubt our Saviour spent time in contemplative thought within the walls of His Father's holy temple.  Jesus Christ's divine teachings followed a path of simple allegories, related to the most simplistic occurrences of our everyday lives, so that we His mortal brothers and sisters would be able to comprehend His divinity and role as the Saviour of the world, and the atonement that He would so soon provide to all of this earth.

Great is our number on this earth that we may feel lost in our connection to our Father in Heaven during our mortal existence.  Jesus Christ knew of our aimless state, and thus taught in Mathew 10:29-32 that not one of us shall fall without our Father knowing.  Through these spoken words of God, Jesus Christ revealed the great value in our Father in Heaven's eyes for each one of His children.  The value being greater than all of his sparrows.
